The location it was convenient for us, the atmosphere was awesome and the people that we got to meet are such an awesome beautiful bunch we will definitely be back.

The room was so quiet and peaceful, it felt like my own little oasis. Rosie is such a wonderful host and took such great care of me during my stay. Rosie even cooked a delicious breakfast for us on Christmas morning. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. Situated in Oamaru in the Otago region, The Shepherd's Rest features accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to an open-air bath. The property has mountain views. The host was amazing, so helpful and just lovely to talk to. The accommodations were perfect. It was very clean and the design and decor made it a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I loved being on the working farm with the alpacas, sheep, chickens, etc!!!
