We especially loved the owner/manager, Linda, who was fantastic, so very accomodating when we needed to extend our stay, and full of beautiful wisdom that both my wife and I were so very grateful for. The Lancewood Lodge is surrounded by beautiful gardens and feels very homely. Set back from the road, it is quiet and the rooms are a good size, with comfortable beds. The friendly greeting from Rhys on arrival made this a much more personal stay than most places I've stayed with work and is very convenient near Ohakea.
