We had a lovely stay at the Picton Country Hideaway. It is quiet, very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. Best of all, our hosts made us feel very welcome. Also it is perfectly located near Blenheim, which was the main reason for our visit. A 5-star stay! Thanks!

We couldn’t believe our luck walking up the stairs to see the house and view for the first time! Firkins Retreat is truly a retreat. Great amenities including a full kitchen and outdoor spa (which has a great view while you’re in it!) and we were amazed at how well considered and private it is. Brad was very responsive and friendly too. Would definitely stay here again!

The location was close to the town, and near the bus route.
the manager Charlene was kind and willing to assist with transporting us back and forth to town, and to restaurants.
She went beyond her duty to support us.
