Friendly welcoming hosts on arrival who suggested a few things happening in town that we could do and see. Tidy, Private, Quiet & clean apartment with comfy bed/s, a CD player & CDs that helped us get through the 500 piece Road Trip puzzle that night lol and a couple other puzzles to choose from. Breakfast choices (Porridge, Muesli or Weetbix) with Yoghurt or Fruit Salad and a jug of milk and juice in the fridge. Beach Towels for the beach which is a 5min walk up the road. Spacious Bathroom/Laundry and separate loo and lovely clean white fluffy towels & flannels. Not too far from town and Would stay again & recommend to others.

Lovely place - perfect for a couple. The owners had clearly put a lot of thought and care into the conversion of this property. Beautifully presented with everything you need for a short stay. Parking space next to the property, which is located behind the owner's home. Small veranda with comfy outdoor seating. Nice big bed. Clean and modern bathroom and kitchenette. Tea, coffee plus some cereals and biscuits were supplied. Great location. Whakatane is a lovely town with nice promenades along the sea front.

Incredibly central, very friendly lady on the desk who pointed me to the Sunday craft market which was a lot of fun. Older building but very very clean and comfortable. A great place to stay with the dogs.

Livingston Motel is a 5-minute drive from Nga Tapuwae o Toi Walking Track, and a 15-minute drive from the Whakatane Airport. Very well kept tidy clean and very nice owners
