The location is perfect, very close to the airport. However for midnight arrival, would be better to take the taxi as the alley walking up to the hotel is very dark at night and some parts only have gravels.

We chose the Airport Manini Lodge because we arrived in Tahiti @2 AM, and the lodge was a walkable distance from the airport. We had received clear, explicit directions on walking from the airport to the lodge. We arrived in 10 minutes and were able to open the front door and the door to our room with the codes perfectly. The room was small, simple, very clean, very comfortable bed, with air conditioning. The shower was strong, nice soap and shampoo. We slept undisturbed, the area and hotel quite quiet. We left in the morning to return to the airport for another flight and never met any of the staff at the Lodge itself. Communication with the property through Booking worked. Definitely recommend for the more experienced travelers.
