The mattress is very comfortable, the best we had on our 14 days trip around the islands. Everything was sparkling clean. Host provided us milk and some biscuits which were really great as we arrived late and markets were closed.

The breakfast was delicious and rich, served in a charming room.

Located in Velas in the São Jorge Island region, Casa da Ermida features a patio and sea views. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Great 4 night stay for 2 couples spending 3 weeks in the Azores. Peaceful location was out of town, requiring drives to get to restaurants and grocery. We were touring the island by car, so this was no problem. Our only problem was realizing we were to call Carlos (card on the door) to get in! He lives off site, but provided a nice daily breakfast and was very responsive and eager to offer advise and answer questions. We enjoyed use of the washing machine and the kitchen for a couple simple dinners.
