Everything was sparkling clean. Host provided us milk and some biscuits which were really great as we arrived late and markets were closed.

It was a fantastic experience! We felt like at home. The room is good and the bed is comfy. It’s a house with history - don’t miss the small tour in the house and around - it’s really impressive. We loved the breakfast. They even make eggs from their own chickens, and home made yoghurts and jams. Catarina also gave us a lot of good recommendations for what to see on the island and great restaurants. Do not worry that it’s next to the airport: there are only a couple of planes per day landing. It’s so far the best stay I ever had while traveling in Portugal (and I’ve been to Portugal like 20+times :)

The house is a typical Azorean home with beautiful sea views—truly charming and authentic. It’s conveniently located within walking distance from the airport, which was very practical for us. The place was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good, providing a great start to the day. Highly recommended!

Perched on the mountains of São Jorge Island, Cantinho offers a furnished terrace with an infinity pool and a hot tub. It offers luxurious, air-conditioned apartments with a private patio. The location is so incredibly beautiful! Close to both the airport and the Velas port for ferries, with access to hikes, and including a fabulous pool and all the other amenities you could want, this is the perfect place to stay on Sao Jorge. We used the comfortable apartment with squeaky clean linens, cooking and dishware, and patio furniture. Lots of space and surfaces for packing suitcases and feeling at home. The sunsets were STUNNING and all the requests we had were generously completed with smiles. Thank you so much to Max, Gabi, Thiago, and all the lovely staff!
