This hotel is 300 metres from Kil Train Station and 20 km from Karlstad. It offers free Wi-Fi and private parking. The lobby has a microwave, refrigerator and free tea/coffee with cookies. Everything was fine, electric coffee kettle, hairdryer. Nice lady in the dining room, good breakfast, lunch option, I was satisfied. I will go here again next year.

Scenically located near the hill of Skutberget, right by Lake Vänern, this well-equipped camping and vacation village offers modern, comfortable cottages with excellent opportunities for outdoor... I booked one night in a cabin to extend our stay in Karlstad – to be honest I wish I had booked this place for all the three days we were there. The cabin was surprisingly large, immaculately clean, well equipped and the kids loved having their own rooms. It was the clear winner of all the places we stayed on this trip, and the coastline within a couple of minutes' walk is lovely with several wild swimming locations. The large terrace with table and chairs was super, too.

The big firepit was amazing we made s'mores and ate way to many so we got sick. Great location away from all the busy spots. The sauna even though we never used it looked pretty comfortable. Overall a great place with great hosts who are helpfull with requests. The trampoline is amazing when traveling with kids. Although smaller rooms it's lovely and cozy with a maximum of 7 sleeping spots if needed. Sleeping couch was comfortabel as well.
