The breakfast was very tasty, the check-in guy spoke very little English so we just used Google Translate, ok. But I'd been instructed to pay in Euros cash only, which was totally inconvenient, but the guy didn't want to accept that payment method, weird. But we got past that. The room was huge and the bed was pretty good.

The hospitality of the staff blew my mind. Osman told us it was a family business and now that we were there, we were their family too. They took care of us as such.

Offering a barbecue and children's playground, Nemrut Dağı Işik Pansi̇on is set into the mountainside of Nemrut in the South Eastern Anatolia Region. We loved everything! The hotel was located in a very nice and quiet area. It was just couple of minutes drive from Mountain Nemrut. The owner Murat and his son Ahmet were both very friendly and helpful people. They did everything possible to make sure that we were all happy and satisfied. Ahmet prepared some delicious food and breakfast for us while his father Murat drove us to the Mountain Nemrut and helped us to get in easier and faster. We can only recommend that place to everyone who wants to visit the Mountain Nemrut and is looking for a calm and simple place without high expectations. We rented a car to go to the hotel, but Murat contacted us before our arrival to offer us a transfer from the airport to the hotel. For everyone else who doesn’t want to rent a car, there is also the possibility to get in touch with Murat and organise a transfer to his place and even to make a sightseeing trip to different cities in the region.
