He walked me through the village to show me where to buy local food, he helped me understand local prices and some basic Swahili phrases and words, he walked with me to nearby properties where I could access the beach, and he even walked along the beach all the way to the other side of Kilindoni with me to Juani! He called a boda boda (motorbike) for me when I had to get to Utende for scuba diving, and always greeted me when I arrived back at the property. He was there when I needed help or wanted company, but he was also kind and gave me space when I was looking for solitude. I felt very safe and welcomed as a solo female traveler.

It only has 3 rooms with amazing view and lovely staff. Our 3 year old daughter loved Ali who was so kind to play we her constantly. We stayed here 3 nights which was perfect because it is very secluded. Perfect for chill and some excursions. Food was lovely too. Thanks all!
