I've always chose crescent city over other places.
I've always chose crescent city over other places. Just wish it had better accomadations for dining and more options on food choices. Its a fun place to go but a very long trip for my family. Park was clean except for restrooms...lot of beach access which is nice. Wish the fishing laws were posted so you dont have to find someone who knows...there was a dead sea lion at the harbor that smelt horrible. Not as many hanging out th thete like all other years. Brookings is close by and has stores to shop at. Need to follow the site so i know when car shows and such are there. I will go back... Trees of mystery is not far away. Go there every year too. Need a place that sells smoked salmon "in" crescent City...that would be nice. Ocean world is nice to shop.Guest review bySimon - 8.0

Crescent City was a charming place with all necessary amenities (Safeway, Liquor Store, Dispensaries, Walmart, thrift store). The beach was adjacent to where I stayed. Great place to stop overnight or in which to spend a few days. There are also two or three casinos very close by.Guest review byHogue - 8.0

There are pros and cons to every city, but my favorite part about Crescent City is the overall beach town atmosphere. Traveling to escape the heat of the Rogue Valley, the coastal weather is a nice reprieve. I love the ability to walk to the closest beach from the hotel room. Stores, restaurants and businesses are in close proximity. The layout of the town is easy to navigate. Yurok Tribe of the Yurok Reservation is not too far south on 101. This is my main reason for visiting this area. Absolutely stunning area and beautiful. Amazing experience visiting, learning and exploration. And enjoying the Salmon Festival. This is a must for travelers to visit at any time of year.Guest review byElisabeth
