It was a traditional motel with lovely views from the back (especially at sunset) towards Sleeping Ute Mountain. They are updating the rooms but keeping the traditional look rather than going for an homogeneous modern look. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly.
In Cortez centre, National 9 Inn Sand Canyon Hotel features a swimming pool, traditional restaurant and free Wi-Fi. South Forty Golf Course is just 1.5 miles away.

Very comfortable beds. Not so soft as often in USA motels. Clean big room with separate living room and bedroom with 2 big beds. Two extra more basins with water tap help to operate whole family. Very good breakfast (sausage, potatoes, eggs, waffle, yogurt, fruits, toasts, jams, coffee and tea).

Wonderful variety of food for breakfast. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The facility was clean and comfortable. It was the perfect location in proximity to Mesa Verde.

Clean, quiet and very comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Unfortunately the severe snow weather forced the closure of Mesa Verde National Park so we lost the point of our visit! It would have been a great base for the visit if it could have taken place.
