Located on Shelter Island, 3 miles from San Diego International Airport, Kona Kai Resort offers a private beach, an outdoor pool and an on-site spa. Guest rooms feature private balconies or patios. Upon arrival I was greeted by friendly valet. was promptly greeted at front desk and Shannan was every so friendly. Room was not ready as we arrived early. I was able to check in, given access to facilities and parking. When room was ready received a text and given key to room. Family and Adult pools. Bar area by family pool was great. Food is wonderful and great portions. Stayed in newly renovated room so nice

Set on Shelter Island along San Diego Bay, this hotel offers a private marina, stunning views of the bay and an on-site restaurant. We loved the room and that it was in the backside by the Mariana. The pool was close the restaurant the store. The property was centrally located to all the things happening on the island and close to San Diego city

The staff from check-in desk staff and throughout, GREAT. MY ROOM WAS READ, before check-in, at 1600h. She kindly checked us in early. Much appreciation.

The Humphreys Half Moon Inn features waterfront and marina views and is home to the Humphreys Concerts by the Bay. A microwave and refrigerator is standard in all rooms. We relocated rooms the first night. Staff were exceptionally helpful. New room was fully renovated. Awesome location, near pool and spa. A resort style property, loved it. Location on the bay was fantastic.

This hotel is located on America's Cup Harbor at the entrance to Shelter Island near several of San Diego's attractions, such as Point Loma Seafood Market and the San Diego Zoo. Great location and affordable near Shelter Island. It’s walking distance to several restaurants and bars, including Bali Hai tiki restaurant. I stayed because of a concert at Humphreys by the Bay and it saved me from paying for parking.
