The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. All apartments come with full kitchen facilities and many also have sea views. Great location next to beach. Staff were extremely helpful allowing us a free late check out. Loads of beach stuff which is free to use at the hotel. Highly recommend staying here

And Amanda and Peter were great hosts! Helping us with booking tours. Both to the reefs and Daintre. Making our stay just fantastic! We so hope to come back!

The location is ideal—just a short walk to the marina, shops, and restaurants. The hosts were very friendly and communicated well throughout our stay, which made everything easy and stress-free. Overall, a great place to stay and we’d happily come back.

Enjoy spacious self-contained apartments opposite the beach and 10-minutes from Macrossan Street. Everything was amazing! Great location, very clean, comfortable, great amenities! BBQ is a terrific addition! Hosts are very professional and attentive! Would definitely recommend!

Location perfect, hidden away but walking distance to everything we needed. Large older design, space that these days places just cant afford.

Here you can enjoy the beach lifestyle and elegance which gives this Queensland resort its reputation as the ultimate holiday playground. The apartment was very nice and comfortable in a good location to walk to the main street or the beach very easily. It was nice to have space to spread out and to cook our own meals.

This was the perfect llocation for bars and restaurants and right beside 4 mile beach. Ken on reception was so friendly and helpful with maps and suggestions for our day trips. Lots of little extras like filtered water, ice, books, bar b q and even umbrellas for guests use. A really enjoyable stay.
