Excellent staff, superb amenities - sunny terrace with swimming pool where you can lounge as you rest from sightseeing ... it's in a quiet part of the village but just about 15 minutes of lovely walk in nature from the port where you can get a public ferry from and to East Bank Luxor (for which be prepared to pay anything from 20EGP to 100EGP as price depends on the guard and how naive you look!) We had a wonderful stay at Mama Africa. Hamdy picked us up from the bus station and he also helped in arranging the private car for us to travel around Aswan, Abu Simbel and Hurghada at a very good price. He also chauffeured us around all the attractions and let us see the attractions at our own pace. We were very comfortable with him and also Hassan who was our driver for the next three days. It has been a good experience overall and I would recommend Mama Africa for the trip.
