Carlina Lodge is a hotel residence located on Biarritz sea front. It offers rooms with a terrace and view over the sea, as well as free WiFi access in public area. Everything was fantastic. The woman at the front desk was fabulous, friendly, helpful and always smiling. The room was exceptional with incredible ocean views. The bed was very comfortable with excellent pillows. There was great lighting, so often rooms are dark. The tv was on castors so that it could be viewed either from the bed or the couch in its own little alcove with a large window. Important for us, because we stayed during the Rugby World Cup. It was warm the entire time, so we kept the window and balcony sliding glass door open. Apparently, this is common because the flooring is a surface that accepts water and it is easily mopped up. There was a large fabulous bath tub for soaking. We had breakfast one morning; a petit dejeuner simple. It included coffee and croissants. The cafe au lait was the best I have had since visiting Paris years ago. It was the old fashioned steamed milk in a pitcher. This is the ONLY hotel on the beach near the old town in Biarritz.. All of the others are up on the bluffs. The restaurant next door, Le Surfing was excellent as well.

Set 50 metres from Hendaye beaches, a 10-minute drive from Spain, Residence Ibaia has an outdoor swimming pool and is located 200 metres from a spa centre which has a gym, massages, indoor pool, hot... Lovely boutique hotel, highly recommend for families. The apartments are compact but well designed. The balcony was fantastic, we had lovely views of the boats on the water across the way. The pool was clean and quiet and our children had great fun using it daily. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is great- 1 minute walk to the beachfront and lots of coffee shops and restaurants nearby. We are looking forward to going back! Very relaxed holiday.

Résidence Victoria Surf offers self-catering studios located in the centre of Biarritz, overlooking the main beach. The property features an outdoor swimming pool with a paddling pool for children. Accomodstion very central and close yo the beach staff.are very friendly and helpful but the accommadition itself is very basic..kitchen has no supplies I.e washing up liquid/ tea towel or scrun pad to do the washing up / no toilet rolls either, but was giving one upon request...
