Exceptionally clean, it is spacious. The bed is firm but comfortable. There is air con and heating available, we didn’t need to use either one. The heater did switch itself on in the night, it would have better if it hadn’t. The sofa bed settee is firm. It’s very quiet, and has great blackout shutters. Its location is superb. The local bars are wonderful.

Host was lovely. Extremely helpful in helping us settle in for 3 nights. Santa Domingo, excellent, with great charm. As part of a specialised trip with a personal view point, it served as a base to see sad hill cemetery, covarrubias, san Pedro de arlanza and other towns as well as Yecla gorge with its captivating birds of prey. Accommodation was well worth the booking, as we were not tied to hotel settings Great town with a great feel, especially when the monastery rings out the bells. As part of the pilgrimage route from San Sebastion to Jeruselem, Santa Domingo de Silos has a great location Overall, very pleased with the accommodation allowing us to self cater as well as using the local bar and restaurant to support the community
