Exceptional apartment - clean, very spacious, tastefully decorated and extremely well equipped (even a mechanical orange juicer with oranges provided so that you can have fresh orange juice for breakfast!). Easy, free nearby parking. On the ramparts, 5 minutes on foot to the town centre or Diderot museum. A few notes that may be helpful: - If entering at night, have a torch or your mobile handy as the nearest light switch to the door is quite a way in. - Note the wifi code before you go in as our GSM signal was weak inside and so you need the wifi (thick walls!) - The smaller room with a single bed gives off one of the doubles and there is no door or closing. - There is another gite above (with its own entrance) so don’t be surprised if you hear movement upstairs - Remember some change for the tourist tax

Le 2 BIS is a most original plan to stay. We only stayed one night, but intent to visit Le 2 BIS another time in the future. Beds were very good! We really liked this apartment and the family who own it and live above. It’s on the ground floor and very spacious with timber and marble floors and high beamed ceilings, so it’s quite atmospheric. We loved the terrace and garden but didn’t swim in the pool as it was late September and we are softies! It’s a minutes walk from the centre with a supermarket round the corner. The kitchen is small but perfectly adequate and well equipped, we ate in twice as the town was busy with restaurants fully booked. There is a secure dry space for cycles. We would love to return.

Situated in a very old building it is beautifully restored and so spacious for two. Fully equipped with all modern amenities, oven, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, smart TV with Netflix. The parking garage is tight but great for its security. Comfortable bedding and great shower. The location in the centre of town is ideal for walking the ramparts. Fabian is a great communicator and responds promptly to questions. This is one of the best properties we’ve ever stayed in France.

    Amazing modern apartment in a historic town. Perfectly clean, and with everything you need, and super comfy beds !. Perfect for our stop-over on the way to the South of France. Highly recommended. PS. Just read the instructions sent to you before arriving - it will make it so much simpler.

    Expecting to find a small apartment, we were pleasantly surprised how spacious it was! Although we were only there for an overnight stop it would be very comfortable for several days. Parking in the nearby car park was simple once we located it!

    The apartment is perfectly situated just off the main street but is extremely quiet, no traffic or neighbour noise at all. It is built into the eaves of the house (60 steps, no lift) so is full of sloping ceilings and exposed beams and quite cute. It has the necessary crockery and glassware as long as you don't intend to do much cooking as there is a limited supply of pots etc. The heating is effective and simple to work. There is good water pressure from all taps and plenty of hot water at all times.
