Wonderfully thoughtful host who even got her Mum to buy us some extra complimentary food as we were arriving very late. Lovely space, warm, cozy and stylishly furnished and decorated. Very comfortable bed and lounge. Nice spot to sit outside in the sun on the back terrace. Well equipped kitchen with cooktop, toaster and electric kettle with variety of teas, coffee machine and pods.

I hiked from Caniçal to Faial and this appartment was in the perfect place for the night. It has a washing machine, nice cooking area, a small terrace and a rain shower. All you need after an exhausting day. Also the owners are very supportive and the location is quiet.

Perfect location! You can't get a more perfect location!!! Close to restaurants, Bars, cidade velha, Grocery stores, Mercado, Shops, Parking, night clubs, main downtown Funchal, the ocean.... I can go on! The apartment is new and very clean. Parking was easy. We parked at the Large supermarket and it is a short walk. I lived in Madeira and I know for a fact this is the perfect location!

Everything about this apartment (no.10) was exceptional.. the cleanliness, the layout, the facilities, not to mention the spectacular view from the balcony. It was a leisurely stroll down to Funchal (max. 30 minutes walk) and to take a “Bolt” back up was €2.50. I would suggest taking a “Bolt” to and from the airport. It’s much cheaper and very reliable. I will be back to Funchal and I will absolutely stay here again

Great apartments quite near the centre of Santana and it is a strategic location for trips around East and Centre of Madeira. The studio had everything we needed (full kitchen, bathroom equipment and so on). Host family is friendly and kind, thank you so much! :)

Absolutely superb. The apartment is furnished to a very high standard with high quality self catering facilities and utensils. Manuel could not have been more helpful, doing everything he could to help us. We are so grateful to him for making our stay in the area extra special.

The studio, where we stayed was above all we expected. It was immaculate and everything was there to cook meals, to bake and to wash clothes. All was very comfortable and Nélio and his family were so nice, super friendly and considerate. We can wholeheartedly recommend Discovery Apartments.
