Things like a milk bottle that hardly costs a euro or two made the difference as we ran out of milk for our coffee

There was a lot of snow in the area when we first arrived but the house was lovely and warm. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen contained everything we needed supplied (good quality items as well). We were able to BBQ a couple of meals and sit outside to enjoy them. We also immensely enjoyed the table a'hôtes offered at the house. The last evening that we were there was clear and it was possible to see lots of stars in the night sky.

Very nice apartment, good view, confortable and with everything we needed. Not far from the center, but yet one would need either the car or take the bus ( the host facilitates a bua card!) The parking was precious feauture to me as i did not have to worry about where to leave my car: after 9 hours drive that was a relief!

The bright rooms at the Truite Hotel feature wooden floors, a private entrance, and a bathroom. Everything. It's a truly cute historic hotel in a beautiful gorge I would never have found on my own. The rooms are nice, in a sort of historic-french decor. Breakfast is fantastic, nicely set, French bread, coffee to order, organic local yogurt, etc. Peaceful and quiet, a bucolic little river flowing by, walking trails, trees... it is all that it seems and more. Oh and fresh trout for dinner. What the French can do with a little butter, flour, lemon, and salt and pepper is amazing.
