Shopping alleys just right down the lane, ferry and train terminal just about 10-15 mins walk. For Muslim travellers, there are two halal restaurants in the same alley as the accommodation. Staff was really friendly and accomodating. Check in time is 3pm. We were so grateful that an early check in was possible as we have a toddler with us. The room was modern and updated. It is nice and comfortable.

Being able to see the sunrise was the highlight of our stay in Lucerne (from either/boththe living room and the roof terrace). This penthouse property was very spacious, tidy and clean. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. What a gem of a find. This apartment was so perfect for us. Martin was welcoming and great with all the instructions of the apartment and the area. The views over his little vineyard were so lovely. Privileged to purchase and enjoy a bottle of beautiful red wine. The apartment was spacious, fully equipment with even the added extras of cold water, orange juice, beer in the fridge, nepresso coffee and bread which really added to the experience. Peaceful location. Only a few minutes walk down to the town centre. We had a car so easy access to Lucerne but train was centre of town. We ate at August restaurant which is one of the listed in the welcome book and it was amazing! One of our favourite eating experiences of our whole roadtrip. The whole stay was something to remember always !
