Very nice cottage in the countryside, close to many farms. Location very quiet and serene. Recommended

Located in Hvolsvöllur, Sleeping with the Horses provides accommodation with seating area. With free private parking, the property is 21 km from Seljalandsfoss and 49 km from Skogafoss Waterfall. The apartment has private entrance. We recently stayed at Sleeping with Horses during our journey along the south coast of Iceland. This location was great. We had the Kria unit, which was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed and more. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure. One of the highlights was enjoying my morning coffee taking pictures of the horses right outside our unit. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Sleeping with Horses, to anyone traveling through the area.

The accommodation is non-smoking. I am so very happy with our stay at ChickenCoop. The position is amazing, like right out of an National Geographic Picture. It was so peaceful and relaxing, only thing I could hear was the little stream outside our house! House itself was beautifully arranged inside, very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was very spacious! I was very pleased to find coffe, oil, tea and other things useful for cooking, as I completely forgot to buy oil 🙄 . Communication with owner was flawless! Directions for check in were very clear. If you are looking for a place were to stay while driving on the ring road, look no further, this place is perfect! ❤ Can't wait to come back soon!
