Saw a lot of scam along the road (places we almost stayed at!!) but the black beach suites appartement was a lucky pick! Highly recommend.

At the apartment complex, some units are soundproof. The apartment exceeded our expectations. It was situated near the waterfall, which we could see from the bedroom' s window. It has a very well equipped kitchen and it has also the washing machine. The owner greeted us with the welcome cake. Next to the apartment is a jacuzzi, which is included in the price. Everything was just perfect.

A recently renovated apartment located in Hvolsvöllur, Country cottage with great view to the glacier, Eyjafjallajökull and Westman Islands features a garden. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is situated 34 km from Seljalandsfoss. Easily one of the best accommodations we experienced in Iceland. The house is clean, modern, and very spacious, giving plenty of room to relax after a day of sightseeing. It’s perfectly equipped with everything you might need, which made our stay very comfortable. We also enjoyed the lovely views and the peaceful, quiet surroundings — a great place to unwind and recharge. Definitely a top choice, and we would happily stay here again on our next visit.

The host met us on arrival and was friendly. He had thought of everything in the design of the cabins, and the outdoor showers were a nice touch. Very warm, comfortable beds and duvets, dark curtains and a peaceful environment. Would come back in a heartbeat.

IMO, this got the highest value for money, compared to all the places I have been to in Iceland. You got everything, spacious room, comfy bed, washing machine with dryer. All the kitchen utensils, equipment. Quiet place, nice and very clean room, parking right in front. Haven't actually met the host, but she always replied quickly. So I have no problem here.
