8years since my last visit home and first to the inn with family from England. Drove past the Dundrum Inn for years and never visited but now we have it will be a go to destination. Very warm welcome despite being late due to Storm Amy. Bedroom was spotless and warm. Tea, water and coffeee were very welcome. The bathroom was large and the shower was superb. Boiling hot water anytime of the day, a nice touch was the retro fittings in keeping with the buildings age and character. The bed was so comfortable that we were torn between just staying there or going to the restaurant and bar. The food was fantastic. Breakfast was a choice menu. All cooked superbly and very tasty. Served each morning by Tom who dealt with any requests from allergies to a pint of Guiness with a relative's fry! Family dinner was perfect. Everyone received their meal at the same time, perfectly cooked and hot. Food quality was excellent using local produce.The restaurant prices were very good and service perfect even with multiple parties in the place. Do not miss out on the bar next door. Live music and very good attentive staff serving. Do try the Guinness.

    Beautiful hotel, Perfect location, right on the beachfront and at the top of newcastle town so everything was walking distance. The staff were the nicest staff I have came across in a hotel, they couldn’t do enough. We were given some cupcakes on arrival for my partners birthday which my 6 year old was delighted with. The bed was most comfortable and the rooms were spotless. My son cried when we had to leave so I Will definitely be returning.

    This hotel is absolutely gorgeous inside & out. A lot of attention to detail. The location is fab, right on the beach front & close to all shops etc. The staff were more than lovely to us, that’s one thing that really stood out to us and made us feel very welcomed. It was my mums birthday and the staff had written her a note which was a lovely touch and very thoughtful.

    Fabulous location right on the beach. An immaculate, tasteful & spotlessly clean B&B. We had a lovely welcome from Maria who showed us to our room, took our breakfast order for the first morning and showed us a small fridge in the hallway where complimentary bottles of water were kept along with extra milk for the tea tray. The breakfast was freshly prepared & delicious. An excellent find, in a lovely seaside town and a perfect base for walking in the Mournes, will definitely return.
