BelgiumI recently had the pleasure of staying at Joy Beach Lodge located along Beach Road in Takoradi, and I must say it was an enjoyable experience. The lodge offers a perfect blend of comfort and serenity, with a beautiful sea view that truly enhances the stay.
The air-conditioned room I stayed in was spacious and well-maintained, providing a welcome respite from the warm coastal climate. The breeze from the sea combined with the cool air conditioning made for a relaxing atmosphere. The lodge’s location right by the beach is definitely one of its highlights, offering easy access to the sand and surf whenever you want to take a walk or just enjoy the views.
The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring I felt comfortable throughout my stay. Whether it was for information on local attractions or assisting with any needs, they were always ready to help.
The only downside was that the Wi-Fi could have been a bit stronger in some areas, but overall, my experience was positive. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with a fantastic view of the ocean, Joy Beach Lodge is a solid choice.
Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Takoradi!

NetherlandsBrand new place. Nice rooms, super clean, aircon and private bathroom. Place so sit outside in front of each room. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Close to the beach, restaurants, bars and small shops. Secure parking for motorbike. Not sure about cars (think he have to park outside the private area, but still quiet and safe surrounding).
