The breakfasts were excellent, with various choices. The architecture and design of the suites is exemplary, with incredible attention to details. Could/should be featured in Architectural Digest or similar. Local management was excellent in all aspects.

Location, hospitality, comfort. Literally a minutes walk from the beach and and a huge choice of restaurants and bars and yet so peaceful. Kostas was super helpful, he arranged our airport transfers, gave us great advice on what to see and how to get there. Very friendly and always on hand to answer any questions. Christina kept our room immaculately clean. It’s not a 5 star hotel but clean, comfortable and has everything you need, with a personal touch.

It is a beautiful house with a huge terrace, with a gorgeous double bed on it where you can fall asleep watching the sea. It has a great spacious living room with a huge TV screen and a good kitchen. By far this is one of the best accommodations I have rented in recent years. The host George is a hospitable, friendly and helpful gentleman. The surrounding area has plenty of restaurants and the famous black Beach of Santorini

Kostas met us on arrival with his Dad the 'Captain' after whom the Villa is named <3. A lovely welcome. He recommended a trip to explore the island on a boat / bus and some local restaurants. Pool is fab, lots of space to chill out but the beach is so close we went every day.... A wonderful holiday.

Comfortable vacation home with wonderful contemporary decoration, just steps away from the beach. Well equipped kitchen and relaxing terrace area. Close to bus stop to easily go around the island. Great value for the area! The hosts made check-in and checkout very seamless, including transportation arrangements…they also had great local tips! Great stay!

Absolutely magical, being there off-season allowed us to have a quiet and restful stay at this unique location. The rooms were great, the gardens a beautiful place to sit and relax, and we even napped daily under the trees. The trees and lights strung in the trees felt like a magical fairy kingdom, especially at night with the fairy lights. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance - a perfect place to replenish. John, who took care of us during our stay was very attentive and checked in daily to see if there was anything that we needed. The day we left, he came at 8:15 AM to help us carry our bags.

Very nice, friendly and helpful owners. The room was cleaned and replenished with necessities every day. Towels and bed linen were changed very often. The air conditioning ensured a pleasant sleep on hot nights. Because of the fridge, kettle for heating water, pots and glasses in the room, we had cold and warm drinks available all the time and we had breakfast in the morning on the terrace in front of the entrance. Although the location is not by the sea, the beautiful beach is only a few minutes' walk away, and along the way there is a bus stop, shops and bars where you can get everything you need. Buses run frequently, are comfortable and affordable, so we didn't need to rent a car. Along the long black beach there are many pleasant taverns where you can try all kinds of real Greek food and drinks.

Just 100 metres from the black sandy beach of Perissa, Villa Markos has a swimming pool with sun terrace and a poolside snack bar.

Nice, friendly, helpful staff. Very good location, the sea few minutes walk. Free parking, pool is also available and the restaurant Mama's food is awesome.
