Nicest place we stayed in Sri Lanka. After many nights with a family all in one room in was so nice to have some space and just look out at the amazing view! Use of the pool was also lovely. Shanuka popped round on the first night to help us with ideas for our visit and has been a great host.

I can't recommend this place enough! Everything was just perfect. The people, the rooms, the location. All restaurants and sightseeing places are close by. They're currently renovating but it didn't bother us. It already looks so nice. Can't wait to be back and see the results!

I would rate the property as exceptional because of the overall ambience of the first 5*hotel in Sri Lanka, dating from 1970-ies. It also means this can be considered a historical experience and the facilities are not top modern, but all is clean and working as supposed to. You can witness local celebrations taking place that is quite a bonus. Close to the city it's a nice oasis with a cozy beach and nicely arranged nature park. And the food is just delicious, with a lot of local variety.
