Everything was perfect. Loved it from the very first moment to the last. Nevertheless, I would like to highlight the staff, they were super nice and super helpful and very competent. The room was spacious, bed very good, breakfast excellent and the garden is the crown jewel. The villa is on the south end of the city, 20 minutes on foot from the medina gates. In the night it was very quiet, very good for people with lighter sleep.

Located in the Medina of Essaouira, Riad Bab Essaouira is a 10-minute walk from the Marina and the beach.

Unique riad and a great host! Simo was in contact with us from the start and welcomed us with tea at the roof terrace with a view to the ocean waves. The riad is decorated with Simos own art which makes it an unique experience. We loved our stay and would come back again. Simos tips for places to go and eat or drink were also perfect - make sure to ask him.

The breakfasts were lovely. I enjoyed the terrace. My room was perfect. I was especially grateful to be on the sea. My friends stayed at a Riad deeper in the Medina and they struggled every night with smoke from burning trash. So I felt so happy to have the cool seabreeze. The staff were also very kind and accommodating.

Perfect location close to the walls of the Medina, but also close to "all the action". Great view over the ocean and beach. Wonderful terrace for breakfast and chilling. The interior was cool, felt authentic. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. We had the best breakfasts of our Morocco trip here, with some fruit (we had been longing for it in other places before this!!). The room is spacious enough, and with ocean view.
