Carlos was so lovely! He was very helpful, even offering to let us use his home gym if we wanted to. All the staff were great! The rooms were clean and spacious. The air conditioner was nice to come back to after being out all day.

It was beautiful and looked right out over the lake. It was perfect for what we wanted. There were also a family of howler monkeys in the trees above our room which was incredible.

The best part of staying here is that Hector makes you feel like family. He is such a kind man. He's willing to stop what he's doing to help at any time. We felt safe there because he was always either downstairs or nearby. The location is very ideal. It's right off the main road and I liked how it was kind of central to all of the adventures and activities we wanted to do. The Saturday market was also right along that road as well which was cool! It is a great budget friendly place. You have everything you need. Don't expect it to be luxurious but expect to have everything you need here. Plus you get to look out at the lake from your patio! Great coffee spot! There's a couple good restaurants that are walking distance as well as a tiny "pulperia" to get some basic food for the place. If you're wanting to do all of your cooking here just make sure to bring some groceries from the Mainland as your options will be limited.
