Location was great, 20 minutes drive from OPO Airport, steps away from the coastline and in a quiet town. The host welcomed me personally, gave me all the information I needed and more, and prepared a copious breakfast adapted to my preferences (all plant-based).

I had a truly special stay at Moimenta's Guest House — exactly what I needed to take a break from the chaos of Porto and recharge before starting a new job. The space is calm, welcoming, and full of care, which reflects Isabel’s (the host) dedication not only to her guests but to the beautiful place she's nurturing. The beach nearby is quiet and beautifully isolated, located next to a natural reserve that’s definitely worth exploring. The weather was sunny and pleasant throughout my stay — the water was freezing, but that’s part of the charm in northern Portugal! The house itself was cozy, the bed was very comfortable, and the amenities were great. I’m especially grateful for the thoughtful little touches, like the book Isabel kindly lent me — which I’m now reading while sipping a beer and thinking about my next visit. Thank you so much for everything, Isabel. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Quirky but nice place to stay. Supermarket right across the street had great meats and other items to cook in the hostel. We prepared a nice spaghetti with meatball in the kitchen as it was a Sunday and everything was closed. The lady who checked us in was very kind and personable, and she went out of her way to explain places to shop and idiosyncrasies of the property. Right on the Beach and steps from El Camino!

This apartment is beautiful, well designed, very beautifully presented, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked. The host even left a pack of water, biscuits and lollies for us. We really enjoy the stay, it was in a great location, close to everything. The only thing is, the apartment is at tge bottom floor, so it doesn’t have an outdoor or balcony area. But you are close to the main parade and all the outdoor activities, so it is very good.
