We absolutely loved our time at the Santhiya Tree. We chose one of the river view rooms with private pool and it was the most beautiful room I have ever stayed in. It was all wood with touches of ceramic items and welcoming lighting. The large glass sliding doors opened up to a veranda with an infinity pool overlooking the river, green hills and mangroves. Relaxing on the daybed looking out over the pool whilst listening to the sound of all the tropical birds was definitely a highlight of our stay. There beautiful hotel pool is surrounded by palm trees and comfy sunbeds and gorgeous beach in front of the hotel is palm-fringed with white sand and turquoise water. The staff were really lovely and did an excellent job of looking after us. We were really sad to leave.

Amazing stay! It's located in the best side (south side) of Kai Bae beach, which is much quieter and has a few shady spots. Main strip is also acceptable and in walking distance, but the accom provides a shuttle service anyway The property itself had great views and the grounds were laid out so there's chill out areas which had a nice vibe. Snorkels were also provided. Room was really nice and comfortable/high quality and has everything I needed and again, breathtaking views. Staff were also all very nice and helpful too!

We have been traveling through Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia for almost two months, when we decided to end our trip in Koh Chang. First we went to the West Coast, where we had plenty of bars, restaurants and such, but for our last stay we wanted a quiet, beachfront bungalow, where we can enjoy our last days of holiday. We couldn't have chose better, since Sunrise is all this, and much more! Just 8 bungalows (4 on the beach), with a very romantic look and feel, a red sand beach with a deserted feeling, and one of the best swimming pools I have seen in the last years. The restaurant is tiny, with 14 options for lunch and dinner and 6 options for breakfast... But what options! We tried 12 out of the 14 dishes on the menu, all traditional thai, and we were simply mesmerized! All of them were amazing, with a perfect balance between deliciousness and size. If I would have to recommend something, even though it is very hard to choose, I would say the cashew tamarind dish, the stir fried garlic and pepper sauce and the sweet and sour one. But that is not all. First of all, this was the first place in two months that served proper coffee as we have it at home - in a french press. Second, and probably the reason for which our stay went from good to exceptional - the host, Penh. She is so kind, so helpful and so friendly, and she helped us with advice, renting a car, getting a massage and so on. Thank you so much Penh for having us! Beautiful experience! The rooms are surrounded by greenery, clean and comfortable. The owner family welcomed us from the first moment making us feel at home and doing their utmost to provide us with the maximum support. On the last night to say goodbye they even organized a barbecue and prepared one of the best grilled fish ever along with lots of turkish delicacies! The place is facing the sea and with access to the beach, it is possible to enjoy both sunrises and sunsets thanks to its privileged position. Thanks guys, we'll be back to see you!!

A peaceful slice of paradise that was the perfect place to end our travels through Asia. This family friendly resort is set amongst lush gardens with very clean attractive bungalows, a pristine swimming pool, gorgeous beach setting with paddle boards and kayaks to use and excellent service. Simon was a wonderful host who arranged a car rental for us to see the beautiful rugged East Coast of Koh Chang. He also gave us advice on what to see and do and he arranged our taxi back to Bangkok. We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility of Amber Sands and my girls miss Polar and Bear, the two gorgeous resort dogs. Thank you for such a memorable stay, it was exactly like all the fabulous reviews I read prior to booking described and I really hope we get to return to this beautiful spot one day.

This is a great hotel, with nice beach access and shaded areas by the pool and beach. There was no shortage of beach beds and plenty of shade for all guests. Pool is really large, and some small pools for children also. Rooms are maybe a bit dated, but room size, beds, furniture has excellent quality. Perfect setting for calm relaxation.

Just 8 km from Laem Ngop Pier, The Chill Resort and Spa, Koh Chang is a boutique resort located at Kai Bae Beach. Rooms feature a private terrace and there is free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

The Chill was one of the best hotels I have stayed at due to the kind, friendly staff that made the stay with my young family so enjoyable. No requests too big or small, they do their best to help.
