The coco reef ecolodge was a great adventure for us! We highly recommend! :) The hosts are extremely hospitable and staff is very kind - all with great sense of humor what is a big plus! :D They are very helpful with all requests, providing reliable information on the area and attractions. They organize amazing trips with local guides for very good prices. The lodge is offering more authentic experience of Zanzibar than big resorts. We were close to the local people of Kizemkazi and got into unforgettable interactions and trips (including spontaneously arranged successful trip to hunt big yellowfin tuna in the open ocean and invitation for the dinner made of it in the village). The food was great, and I was personally impressed with French crepe on breakfast - one of the best I ever ate! Grilled seafood was very fresh, big portions! Summarizing, this was a great, unforgettable experience with loads of fun and action - whenever opportunity arise we will be back!

From the very first moment we entered the hotel, we felt completely at ease and genuinely welcomed. Every single wish and need was taken care of with warmth and attention to detail. Special thanks go to Chef Ally, a truly world-class chef who created outstanding dishes every single day. His food was simply incredible, and we already miss his exceptional cuisine! Beyond that, he always came to us personally with great recommendations and heartfelt conversations. The entire service team deserves praise – especially Ali, Akim, Miriam, Roman and Joyce who were always there for us with a smile, impeccable service, and wonderful, friendly energy. They made every moment feel special. Also, a huge thank you to the reception team, particularly Fatima, Mary, Asye and Mohammad, who helped us with absolutely everything – from taking photos to organizing activities and even assisting us when we forgot mosquito repellent. The General Manager, Arjun Kumar also deserves special recognition for running this place with such passion and professionalism. It’s clear that his leadership sets the tone for the entire team – everything runs smoothly, and you can truly feel that everyone enjoys what they do. The hotel itself is beautifully designed with so much taste and attention to detail. It truly leaves nothing to be desired. We felt incredibly comfortable throughout our entire stay and can only highly recommend this place to anyone looking for warmth, hospitality, and excellence in every detail.

I came here after climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, my main goal was to sleep, swim and relax after the hike. Overall, perfect place if you are looking for a little hideaway. Lovely sea view from my room. A number of hamocks, couches and sunbeds along the sea front to chose from to chill and sleep. Didnt feel overcrowded, very relaxed atmosphere, food, drinks, massage all well priced

The property located on the beach is stunning. The rooms are spacious, clean and wonderful. Staff has gone beyond to make my stay incredible. During my stay I received great news and Mohamed has gone an extra mile to celebrate this in a way I enjoy; with whiskey and cigar. Suleman and Raquel have always had smile and did everything needed to make sure my stay here has been beyond expectations. Head chef Amr has surprised me and some other guests with Egyptian food, Swahili chicken. Everything has been delicious. This has been by far one of my favorite places to stay.

Great location with beautiful views in quiet fishing village. Comfortable beds, huge bathroom, very clean. Beautifully maintained garden and villas. We loved the food in the restaurant, all the seafood dishes were super fresh and very tasty. Their curry and pilau were super good too. We didn't try any of meat dishes but being on Zanzibar you can't expect a wide range of them. We liked the breakfast options too. The massage I got there was amazing, I strongly recommend it. We liked the staff as well, very friendly and professional.

It’s really beautiful and cosy hotel. We spend there 5 nights during our honeymoon and it was absolutely fantastic place. If you are lucky you can see a lot of animals, monkeys playing around on the roof of restaurant. It is like a place in paradise with wonderful view. Also food in the restaurant is really good and people who work there ale helpful and nice :)
