We had a great weekend staying at the Surfside Resort. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were really great. David at the front desk was amazing and even helped us with an item we forgot in our room.

    Easy check in/check out. Amazing location right on the beach. Love the hot tub, the fire pit and the grill. Nie to have bedrooms on different levels so that everyone gets some privacy. Cute little town, good restaurants and some small convenience stores. Easy access to some of the bigger towns and parks in the surrounding area without being too touristy.

    The room very clean and perfect size. Ocean view was fabulous. Just a few steps and you were right on the beach. The manager that checked us in very polite I would stay there again for sure. Never had a room with aa view like this one.

    I've been going to the beach in the month of March for years now as it is my birthday month. We started at Seaside and felt driven out by the cost of hotels and the large amount of people. We then decided Rockaway was more fitting for us. We fell in love with Surfside Resort and the town of Rockaway. We will continue to return to this gem of a town and support this local community.

    The motel was in a lovely location right on the beach. We opted not to pay considerable more to have a sea view which I'm now very pleased about as I took violently ill the afternoon we arrived (nothing to do with the motel) and we had to leave a day early because of it. The manager was helpful with everything but was unable to offer any refunds due to it being booked vial booking.com. I would like to go back sometime when I'm in good health to enjoy the area.

    Such a wonderful stay. From the first night, it felt like the kind of place you’d want to come back to every summer. I didn’t have an ocean view (by choice), and I instead had a gorgeous lake view. The staff were soooo incredible and helpful, and I can’t adequately express my gratitude for their compassion and assistance. I might dream about watching the sunset on that beach for the rest of my life. Incredible, incredible, incredible.
