We cooked and had dinner twice and it was even possible to do that with two more family members staying next-door. The location is wonderful, you can do everything on foot! There is a Sainsbury’s a bit further down the road. I had been worried about noise from outside. We had a room to the front and it was perfectly fine at night. We were woken up by the seagulls having a laughing fit. During the daytime more sounds travel up, so it might depend a little on the time of year. We were there in February, when it grows dark and cold early.

The room was superb, clean, warm (as we visited during Winter) with tea and coffee making facilities and an excellent rainfall shower. It is an unmanned hotel but the access instructions we received on the morning were easy to follow. I was able to communicate with the property via text when I had a question. Would thoroughly recommend this property.
