A balcony with sea views is offered in each unit. Delightful family. Henry and Mariluz were so welcoming. She made fresh food for breakfast and asked us so made lunch ( including a picnic) and dinner. Henry walked us up to Pachamama and introduced to plants to help with altitude. Great sunset from here. Mariluz showed us her weaving and knitting skills. The west side of the island where they were was tranquil. A map was shared so we could walk around the island the next day and also walk up Pachatata.

I am so happy booking suggested this accommodation because I had such a beautiful time there. the view and the room is just perfect, at night from the balcony you have incredible sky, the family was so lovely and welcoming, always kind, I had different delicious breakfast every morning and even pancakes which I really missed! I booked for two nights and ended up staying four and could’ve stayed longer. I am really grateful for my time there, don’t hesitate to book if you feel tempted to go there.

We arrived at night due to a long day of travel, and experienced a night sail on the lake to reach the hotel. It was only the next morning at first sunlight that we could discover how beautiful the surroundings are. The hotel is on a floating island (part of the Uros isles) and it does wobble a bit when boats pass by :-) The nature, the quiet, the views are exceptional. And so are the facilities : comfy bed, very clean compost toilet, shower. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Eduardo also took us to a nearby island for a short introductory course on floating island building. We also met some locals thanks to him. We would love to stay here again.

They communicated well with us ahead of time with the location of pickup for their water taxi service. We met them at a dock, they loaded our luggage and away we went to their floating island. We had a huge room with one kingsize bed and three queen sized beds! They told us to choose anyone we wanted. The room also had large windows with a lake view and a balcony with chairs overlooking the water. The family made us tea, hot chocolate and coffee in their little restaurant, and a fabulous supper! The little boy showed me how to use every toy in the gift shop. We had pre-booked our tours before arriving, and Nicanor went above and beyond with our company to have us picked up at his island instead of waking up early going back to Puno, and than right back out to Uros again.
