The property was designed by internationally acclaimed interior design firm, Champalimaud and features works of several Hawaiian artists in partnership with The Honolulu Museum of Art public art program. Property was exceptional in its location. A beautiful, spotlessly, clean hotel. Expensive, but this is Hawaii, and as a female, solo traveler, the location was spot on as I could walk everywhere.

The host greeted us upon our arrival late at night and happily shared about all the exceptional amenities. Beautiful shared space for a short stay with a beautiful ocean view and access to an inviting swimming pool. We did not make the time to enjoy the pool on this visit; next time. The space was well organized with bins to store food items and access to fridge space on a nice outdoor veranda overlooking plush trees and a spectacular view of the ocean. Thank you for a wonderful first stop on the island. Great first impression!

This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Every room is fitted with a balcony with views of the pool. Situated on the side of the house- a very spacious, spotless clean bedroom and huge bathroom. Coffee and tea provided, limited cooking, we ate when out exploring the area. Shops and restaurants about 15min drive away.

This place is amazing! We were there for 3 days and it definitely wasn’t long enough. The clothing optional black sand beach is incredible. Matt went above and beyond by finding two people to do a couples massage for us! The hot tub was the perfect way to relax every evening but the outdoor shower was my favorite place. Do something good for yourself and go stay here a couple days! 💜

This 4-star hotel offers a bar. The hotel has a hot tub and a 24-hour front desk. great location, reasonalble pricing, would come back again. pool and beach facilities are outstanding.

Each room is fitted with a patio with garden views and free WiFi. - the whole place was so clean !!! - access to laundry room with soap - the mattress was unbelievably soft and comfortable - the portable a/c in the room was really effective - easy walk to Maku’u point for sunrise - far away enough from Hilo to see stars and be in nature, but still easy enough access to the city and Hawaii Volcanoes

Honestly, we didn’t want to leave this place, it felt like home from the moment we arrived. The room is huge, with plenty of space and a cozy living area where you can truly relax. Everything was immaculate. The property is beautifully maintained, with a pool and a lovely terrace where you can enjoy a peaceful breakfast. We didn’t have much time to get to know the owners since they were out of town for most of our stay, but the few interactions we had were warm and friendly. The location is perfect. The property is in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood just 10–15 minutes from downtown Hilo. At first, we were unsure about not being right in the city center, but honestly, you wouldn’t want to be once you see this place. It offers the best of both worlds: tranquility and easy access to town.
