Modern and very clean room offered a comfortable stay, and the good breakfast provided a delightful start of each day! The highlight was undoubtedly the great view of the Himara sea, which added an extra touch of serenityto the entire expetience. The owner’s excellence service truly made us feel valued and cared.

Wonderful, family run guest house. The room was perfect, comfortable bed, clean, modern bathroom and balcony. Breakfast and dinner was delicious. Short walk to the beach and convenient parking at the guest house.

Accommodation: The stone houses are exquisitely designed, blending rustic charm with modern comforts. Each house is thoughtfully decorated, maintaining the natural beauty of the stone while providing all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in the design is remarkable, offering a unique and cozy atmosphere that feels like a home away from home. Service: The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful, always eager to ensure their guests have the best experience possible. Their hospitality was a highlight of my stay; they even provided us with rides to and from the center, making our visits to Himare seamless and stress-free. Their willingness to go above and beyond truly enhances the overall experience. Accessibility: While the hotel's secluded location adds to its charm, it's important to note that having a private car or scooter is essential for convenience. Alternatively, you can take a taxi to the Himare center, which is a viable option for those without their own transportation. The slight distance from the center is a small trade-off for the peaceful and picturesque setting the hotel offers. In conclusion, this hotel is a perfect choice for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful and serene environment.

Everything was perfect, the host was very welcoming and greeted us with a plate of figs. The location is great, just a 12-minute walk to the center. The exterior is beautiful, the room inside was very clean, and there is plenty of parking space.”

Zhulat is a small mountain village that offers a truly authentic Albanian experience — you’ll likely be the only tourists or foreigners there. It’s hard to put into words what we experienced in the home of Fatmir and Fjona. If you’re seeking the real Albania, far from tourist resorts, this is the place for you. Here, you’ll encounter true Albanian hospitality. The house has belonged to Fatmir’s family for generations — their son is the 10th generation to live here. It’s a traditional stone house with a beautiful garden, full of history and decorated in authentic Albanian style. Each morning, Fjona prepares a rich and delicious breakfast made from local and homegrown ingredients. The garden is simply stunning — and much of what you eat comes directly from it. We were invited to a traditional Albanian dinner prepared by Fjona — homemade and full of local flavors. The next day, they even welcomed us for a delicious lunch. Staying here wasn’t just about accommodation — it was about connection, and a deep experience of real Albanian life. The place is calm and quiet, surrounded by mountains, with a refreshing river nearby. Gjirokastër is only about 30 minutes away. Fatmir and Fjona are warm, welcoming, and truly kind hosts. When we return to Albania, we will definitely come back to this place.
