The apartment is directly at a small forest, with very nice hiking routes. It is excellently equipped. The furniture is hand crafted with quality wood, the mattress, bed covers, pillows, shower gel etc. are all of highest quality. We adored our stay at Vanette, and will surely return! Her B&B is a truly visionary project, and deserves all the success : it is clear that she put so much love and attention in every detail. The rooms are super modern, very cozy, and we both liked the concept of combined bed and sofa, in which we very well. We had a healthy breakfast together in the beautiful veranda, while having very inspiring discussions. The surrounding area is beautiful and quiet.

Kiki and Rolf were amazing, obliging hosts. The breakfast each morning was delicious, varied and nutritious. The B&B was secure and easily accessible using a swipe card. The area was very handy to the trams so getting around Basel was very easy.

Casa Esperanza is located a 5-minute tram ride from the centre of Basel and offers free WiFi and a shared terrace with seating area. The rooms all come with a flat-screen TV.

The host was incredibly polite and friendly. He patiently answered all of my questions. The bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen were all spotlessly clean. The kitchen supplies exceeded my expectations, with spices, teas, coffees, a coffee machine, numerous pots, wine glasses, and plates. You can cook any type of meal you desire. At the same time, there are multiple supermarkets within a 5-minute walking distance. The street was very quiet at night. Despite being an old building, we slept very comfortably at night. Moreover, you can reach the city center in just 5 minutes by tram number 3. It's a fantastic place to stay in Basel. Additionally, the internet worked very well. PS: You can let your bags earlier than check-in time. This flexibility is very important when traveling with backpacks. Thank you for everything.

I couldn't be happier with my stay at Niros. It's only a 20-30 minute walk into the old city along a beautiful park and the river. The owners are wonderful and give guests their own space. The beds were super comfortable. The room was the best equipped we've ever encountered. And there were the added bonus of the bunnies on the lawn outside. Perfect 10 out of 10.
