Beautiful, well-kept and clean hotel with cosily furnished rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, varied and vegan friendly. The view from the roof terrace is marvellous.

This place is a perfect base for doing hikes in Paul Valley because the hotel is located on the trails, so you don’t need transportation, you can just start your hike after breakfast. José and Belén are super helpful, they have several good recommendations about hikes nearby. The staff is also amazing and they prepared super delicious breakfast and dinner. The peaceful, slow-life atmospheare of this place was really special. Wish we could have stayed longer. Abslutely recommended

It is a very good place, if you look for an authentic village. It is managed by the local women association, and it is managed well. All is clean and well-kept. Good local food. The village is very quiet. The view is spectacular and the sunsets are idyllic. The village nightlife concentrates around a shop run by Antonio and it is a good place to meet the villagers. In 10 days in Cape Verde it was my favourite stay! I loved the location. You wake up in the middle of nature, hearing frogs and birds. At night you can see the stars. Next to a beautiful waterfall and Xoxo valley hike. The staff is helpful and friendly. We had them cook dinner for us which we shared with other guests. Incidentally, there was a power cut - the staff cooked the dinner with candlelight and then we also ate it with candlelight. An experience to remember!
