This was a little oasis in which to relax and enjoy Bordeaux. The wine, the views and the villages. The vistas from the pool, Eric’s generous hospitality and the gardens meant we were able to relax and enjoy. Being high on the hill made it feel like a true getaway, and Eric’s gorgeous puppies added to the relaxed atmosphere. We were well cared for.

Perfect location to explore the area. Lodgings were very comfortable and we ended up spending more time at the property than we planned for during our stay given how relaxing it was. Thanks to Annie and Sylvain who were great hosts - truly felt like a home away from home.

Sophie and her husband were very welcoming from the minute we arrived. The house is beautiful and well maintained, with a spacious family room where we stayed. The breakfast was fabulous, with home made food and everything we needed to start the day. Sophie also gave advice on how to best visit Bordeaux, and was always available for help if needed. On our last day we left super early in the morning, and she was kind enough to prepare our breakfast so we could take it on the go. Thank you!!!

We loved our one night stay at O Vieux Moulin. Wish we could have stayed longer. Sondrine and her husband were perfect hosts. Our room was very big and the bathroom was lovely. All the small touches in the room showed attention to detail. Breakfast was delicious and set us up for a day of discovering the area. Sondrine very kindly gave us a recommendation for a vineyard in St. Emillion, which we went to. It was amazing. Thanks so much for a lovely little break at your perfect property.

great place! if you want to feel the charm of the south of france, this is the perfect place to stay) there is a beautiful view of the vineyards nearby, the design of the room in life is much more beautiful than in the photo. All the amenities were there, it was nice to have a cup of coffee in the morning in such a beautiful place. I highly recommend this place.
