The communication with the owner was excellent from the start. On arrival, I sent a quick message and she immediately came out to greet me and direct me to where I could park, which was really helpful. The room itself was spacious, spotless, and had everything I could possibly need. I slept so well in a very comfortable bed, and the whole place was beautifully quiet. Although the property is on a residential estate in Nechells, don’t let that put you off, it’s a real hidden gem. I had a wonderful stay and would absolutely book again without hesitation.

Staff was very friendly. The pub on the ground floor is wonderful and a great variety of beer and food is served. The room was comfortable and the shared room was cleaned everyday.Location was Ok, not far from the city centre ( less than 10 min walk).

The location of the hotel is excellent and the room was just the right size and perfectly comfortable. The staff were very friendly (especially the wonderful lady who worked in the kitchen). The hotel has its own bar and parking, which was a plus. All in all, a very nice place to stay.

    The hotel is well placed in central Birmingham but as it is not on a main road it is quiet. I would recommend ear plugs anyway as it is a city. As a solo female traveller I was worried about safety but needn’t have been. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was safe and clean. Own private bathroom made a huge difference. Cheap and safe stay.
