The staff were very kind and friendly, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The room was beautifully decorated in a charming country style. It was clean, well-equipped with plenty of amenities, and the bed was very comfortable. The meals at the pub, as well as breakfast, were warm and delicious. I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent location for walking, it is remote however Buxton with all its restaurants and bars is only a 10 min drive.. Breakfast was lovely.. Picturesque filled with nature, animals, hills and flowers..

This property is an absolute charmer. Amazing hosts that make you feel like it's a home away from home. We stayed in the double room and the bathroom was huge and the bed was very comfy. The pub directly over the road serves great meals, and we had a great time exploring the peak area.

The friendliness of all the staff from arriving to checking out. Location Room was lovely able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the evening sun. We ate in the resteraunt good choice inc gf excellent food. Last minute booking for us, so glad we chose this one. The breakfast is bookable on arrival excellent value all cooked to order couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommend definitely would stay here again.

The location was great next to beautiful Lady bower reservoir, Win hill and Bamford edge. Exceptionally clean, comfortable with great food and an amazing breakfast. The staff were just so friendly and couldn’t make us feel any more welcome. Would defiantly return 👍🏼

    The breakfast I had was very good, I needed to leave at the same time breakfast started. Chef kindly served me early and I kept it simple having mushrooms and poached eggs (yum) on wholemeal. Room very quaint but modern, lovely rickety floors and a cute low window overlooked the hills. Pizza box in the 'garden' was lovely. upstairs had a small private balcony which was a nice touch had I been with my hubby and in great weather. Overall very good and I would recommend/stay again as a base for walking the area.
