This is a very nice historical building with nice renovated rooms where you can find everything you need. Quiet location, parking available. Special thanks for a warm welcome and perfect breakfast prepared by Chris :-). It is a pitty we had a possibility to stay only one night. Hope we will be back again.

This is an excellent hotel exceeding its rating. A fine example of the best of English hospitality, it sets a high benchmark which other inns and hotels should be aiming at and which in many cases do not. Quiet location, perfect stop heading North after a flight into Gatwick. Lovely pub with a restaurant and garden, we had a delicious meal and pint in the bar. Stayed in one of the apartments which was spacious, nicely decorated and a very comfortable bed. Staff were lovely, really friendly and accommodating.
