Lovely stay at Birchwood. The rooms were well equipped and beds very comfortable. Shared space had all facilities required for self catering and were clean/tidy and well cared for.

The location was stunning with nice walks and a handy village shop next door. The Inn itself was also stunning and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Can't wait to come back.

Cute community run Inn. Good local food. Great atmosphre and history. Location in the middle of small village / town. Great base for activites in surrouding area. Breakfast on the lighter side but good quality. Dinner was nice experience because it was served in the pub ( becuase of the quize night ). Lots of locals around.
