food was incredible very tasty and good sized portions , Mark and his team were very friendly and knowledgeable ,we took our dog with us and she was made very welcome and they made lots of fuss which she loves along with all the free doggy treats. we stayed for two nights and the room was very clean and had all of the amenities you would expect in a 5 star hotel ! . bonus of lovely countryside walks down the river , helped work off the extra pounds we put on ! thanks Mark and your fabulous team for a brilliant birthday stay ,we will defiantly staying again .

In our 6 weeks of travel in UK, this was our absolute favorite lodging. It was perfect. We loved the breakfast, the offering of dinner salads from local produce, afternoon tea, luxurious room, walk to Sissinghurst gardens, view of Sissinghurst tower & sheep pasture from our large “Sissinghurst” room. Fabulous pub - very highly recommend. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Spacious bathroom. The food was exceptional and the staff went out their way to make our stay memorable.
