My sister who was the driver, had a medical emergency. Our phone battery was dead and we couldn't communicate with her at the A&E. Michael and Luca brought their own phone up to us for our use, offered to take us to the A&E and were just wonderfully caring and helpful to us - my husband and I live in the United States (although I was born here) so couldn't drive, and were unused to Britain and the workings of the health system. We could not have been in a better place for this experience. The B&B was lovely; we had a great breakfast and enjoyed our hosts. The rooms were lovely and beautifully decorated. The rooms had quality tea, biscuits and water and the soap, shampoos and bathroom sprays were all top notch. In the end my sister returned and was able to drive us on but we were assured that if we needed to stay another night we would be able to. Although I was glad that my sister was okay I was sorry not to be able to stay another night. We would recommend this B&B to everyone.

The Red Lion has a very welcoming feel about it. The room we had was very comfortable and very clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

The location was great as the occasion was a 60th wedding anniversary afternoon tea at a near by village hall, plus the weather was on our side too, the hotel was lovely, clean and cosy, felt like home.

Superb communication. Lovely presentation in all areas. High quality linen, appliances etc. So comfortable. Lovely extras like good toiletries, crumpets, milk, beer and wine. Great TV with Netflix etc. Really great bed so great night’s sleep. Lots of space so easy to feel comfortable.
