We were travelling on holiday from SA and booked in last minute as we were in the area while exploring the English Heritage sights. This was the best Inn we stayed at during our whole stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was spacious and had everything we could ask for. They also have a large garden outside where yo can have Sundowners. Would definitely recommend it.

We felt at home immediately. Clean towels, sheets, home was clean. Abundance of teas, hot chocolate and coffee for everyone's taste. Tissues next to the bed so important for me. The beautiful area, garden and exquisite hanging baskets made it very welcome. Can highly recommend it.

My wife liked it because the bedroom was hot. It was like an oven. We could have turned the radiator off, but in winter it was nice to not be cold. Staff were great.

Wonderful warm and friendly welcome. Lovely cosy bedroom. Roaring open log fire in our own sitting room. First class breakfast, so much choice and excellent quality. Highly recommend this great B&B.

Everything. The staff were friendly and personable. The bed was comfortable, the tub was deep enough for a proper soak, we could sleep with the windows opens and not be bothered by road noise. The attached pub has exceptional food. We look forward to rebooking a stay in the future.
