We needed somewhere to stay that was close to the property we are renovating, and it was ideal . The room was very clean and modern deco . The modern bathroom was lovely, and shower pressure was good . The owner was very informative on where best to eat etc . Would definitely recommend staying in these rooms .

Stayed here as we were travelling up for a wedding, the hosts were really accommodating and the room was lovely, we didn't get the chance to use the pool area on this trip, but we will definitely stay here again when we are next visiting family.

The location is beautiful and close to outdoor hiking trails and very pretty scenery. Clare was a wonderful and friendly host who provided us with comfort, a well-appointed room with ensuite and a wide choice for breakfast, and even a little chocolate treat with cuppas at night 🌙 😋

The design of the room was lovely, it was really clean and stylish. The self check in element was easy to do and the owners were proactively helpful through messages. the included breakfast at the veeva cafe is the best included breakfast I’ve ever had. if/when i come back to cockermouth I’ll be making sure i stay here. wow what a treat it was!
