Lovely people and nice restaurant with Hungarian dishes. The room and bathroom were clean, and we enjoyed the accommodation and Tatabánya. Sometimes there are events at the accommodation, when we were there, there was a huge barbecue that they had been preparing for days. There is a bakery down the road, and stores in the city center. During our stay in Tatabánya we went Via Ferrata climbing, and hiking to the nearby cave and viewpoints. We also went swimming in the Öreg-tó lake in Tata (15 min drive)

Fantastic restaurant/bar downstairs. Although we speak hardly any Hungarian, and the evening staff didn’t speak English, they were patient and friendly with us as we muddled through!
