An out of city location with serene and peaceful views. The hotel wasn't a large operation, but that made it all the more special for the graceful attention that was lavished on us. The breakfast and dinner offerings were more than adequate, and carefully prepared by our friendly hosts who had a very good command of English. We had only two nights available to us in Bandung, but our stay here felt much longer than that. We would make a point of repeating our visit here next time we return to this area.

Magic place surrounded by nature and rice fields, the best solution for visit Borobudur temple and take a break from the caos of the city. Beautiful swimming pool and Javanese bungalows, Bobby is so funny and do his best to make you feel relaxed and at home. Breakfast super and tour organized by Bobby among rice fields with local people was the best experience we had!

Very good place with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Swimming pool and breakfast overlooking the rice fields was something epic! Walking distance from Borobudur temple and surrounded by a contryside manicured like a garden.

It's a very nice boutique cottage, like a small resort, very suitable for family with kids who want to have a playground or play around the pool area. I have a very comfy room, close to nature I would say. The French owner and the staff were all very helpful. The staff supported me to open the door in early morning so I could go for a sunrise tour. Thanks so much for your support and kindness.

In 10 days of traveling around Java I had not stayed in a place that was so nice to be inside. The room was terrifically clean, the size ample, the air conditioner worked well, there was hot water, and a nice porch out front. My only suggestion would be to place a wall mounted electric fan on the front porch so that guests can be outside more comfortably

Ndalem Suryo Guest House is very tranquil and tucked in a lovingly garden. Despite the close proximity to the main road and the busy street, we did not hear any noise apart from the school nearby (during the school hours). We felt right at home the minute we stepped on the property. Mas Antok, the staff is very attentive, he makes sure everything we need during our stay was well accommodated. There was a talking bird that fooled us, it was fun talking to it. A drinking water station is also available. We will highly recommend this accommodation to families, friends and clients and we will return to Ndalem Suryo next time we return to Yogyakarta.
